Hi. I am still having pain from my 4 1/2 year old repeat csection (8/01)...I have days that are painfree, then I have days where the weather (wet weather) make my incision feel like it is pulling & I have a burning feeling...and on really bad day I develop a red circle below my csection on my pelvic bone & even feel numbness on that area...it is bizarre. My sister has had 2 csections & has no idea what I am talking about her's heal up great no problem whatsoever...I think my family thinks Im crazy. I went to a plastic surgeon who said he could maybe fix it with 8week recovery...who has 8weeks when you have 2 kids, I don't even have someone to help me for that long...I also am worried about the possiblly of going through all of this and it not fixing it...he said some patients do fine & some don't...also the risk of this surgery for no baby basically...I did it for my 2 children for the risk, but with no baby, maybe the risk is too big...AM I crazy? Should I not be considering it and live with the pain every so often (a few times a month) If I lift something too heavy i pay for it too, cause the next day m y incision tells me so...my kids are 61/2 & 41/2 so you think this would be fixed by now...ANYONE out there know my pain??? I would love to just hear someone in my situation. And what you might have chose to fix it...
