Pain On Right Side Usually When Urinating

has anyone else had this after a c section? this morning when i got up to use the restroom i had a strong pain on my right side of my lower abdomen under my incision and it has come and gone all day but not nearly as strong as it was this morning when i got up. not sure if its my bladder or what and if i should call my doctor or see if it happens again?

It couldn't hurt to have it checked out. You feel so many odd pains after a c-section it's hard to tell where it's at sometimes, but if you think it might be in your bladder it's worth getting checked out. Anytime you have a catheter a bladder infection's possible. I had a bladder infection after a D&C for my miscarriage... it felt painful and almost like something was "pulling" in there.... well, it's hard to describe- that's about the best way I can think to describe it. good luck!
