I am now 29 weeks and have been battling morning sickness since my 4th week. I pretty much have been able to maintain the weight I started at but is 6 lbs too little of a gain?

I read that as long as you gain an overall of at least 15 pounds you should be okay. So, at this point I think you could still be alright. What does your doc say?

I'm curently 28 weeks and have gained about 3-4 lbs. total. It really depends how much you weighed before you became pregnant. My doc says it's perfectly normal as long as you weren't really thin before pregnancy and starving yourself or trying to lose weight. If so, your baby may have some complications after birth. But, if you were overweight or normal weight, and on a healthy diet with plenty of calories, then there is no problem.

Till 30 weeks, I had gained only 4 pounds. But the doc said it was ok since the baby was growing normal. now last 4 weeks I have gained 6 pounds.. and no change in my diet...So the all the gain is baby weight gain since the baby starts putting weight now. So hang in there and you will start gaining as long as u are eating proper food and your doc has not expressed any concerns, dont worry, be happy, u have lesss post pregnancy wt to shed :-)
