Okay I just found out I'm anemic and need to take iron supplements. I also found out I have a high platelet count? Does that have to do with being anemic? Also I was wondering if anyone can make any suggestions about good foods that have iron in them?

Well I don't know how "good" this is, but liver is the best source of iron (beef, chicken or pork liver). The thought of that makes me want to throw up though ;-). Beef, shrimp and turkey are also supposed to be good sources of iron. There are also some cereals that are iron-enriched - you just have to check the labels.

Red meat and poultry have lots of iron that is in the easiest form for your body to absorb.
Liver has lots of vitamin A in it (and vit A can cause birth defects) so may not be the best choice.
The hight platelet count is probably just a symptom of the pregnancy - the platelet count rises in response to many diseases and conditions including pregnancy. Depending on how high it is, it may not be abnormal.
Good luck!

Here are other iron-rich foods: Raisins, Whole Wheat Bread, Beans (red, dark red or black), Lentils, Sweet Potatoes, Spinach, and Egg-yolks. Good luck...

You could try an iron supplement. Slow-fe is a great one, timed release so you don't feel any nausea. You can purchase it at all major drug stores. I was put on in the last trimester of my first pregnancy and it worked very well!
