Breastfeeding While Pregnant

I recently discovered I was pregnant, and I'm still br___tfeeding my 7 1/2 month old. I really haven't been having any problems but I weighed myself and found out that I've lost about 12 lbs. since I found out I was pregnant. I plan to wean my baby now but I just hope that I haven't done any irreversable damage. Can anyone put my mind at ease?
