What are the known effects of taking diet pills for 21 weeks of a pregnancy?

The only thing I've heard is that it can cause the fetus heart problems. It is just not good to take them considering no one knows what effect it could really have. much the same as drugs and alcohol. Eating healthy and staying active is the best way to diet when pregnant.
