A favorite topic of discussion...I need help. It seems everything I eat has a negative affect on my system and I am wondering if there are any otc meds that are helpful and nonharmful. Of course a lovely companion of my gas is my constipation, I have tried to alter my diet for relief but the fiber rich foods that are supposed to help the constipation is making the gas worse. What do I do??

I found my gas almost unbearable too. And of course, mine was coupled with my constipation. I found that eating in smaller amounts helped a lot, having smaller portions with each meal, and drinking plenty of water. My doctor recommended swtiching to fiber rich foods, like whole grain cereals and breads and drinking prune juice as well. But honestly l haven't found a great cure for it yet. I am still having good and bad days. As embarra__sing as it is, talk to your doctor if it's becoming unbearable. Good Luck

I too have had a lot of problems with gas, mostly gas pain, very painful. The bigger I am getting the worse it is. I haven't found anything that cures it except laying down and stretching out. I found the sitting all day aggrivated it. As soon as laid down and stretched out it relieved some but usually I didn' t feel better until the next morning. Doctor said to watch what I eat, but it seems that no matter what I do or eat, I have gas. Sensitive stomach but no constipation here.

My doctor said you can take Phazyme, Mylicon or Di Gel for Gas.
I use Phazyme and it works great.
