I know that you are not allowed to eat whippy ice cream when pregnant, but what about 'soft scoop' ice cream? Is this dangerous too?

I read that it is dangerous to eat soft serve. I'm very upset about it too... I can't remember what exactly about it made it dangerous & I think I read it in the What to Expect When You're Expecting book,.
