To every one who says "you will know when are going into labor",,,, not always. With my first daughter, I did not have contractions, but my water was leaking. I talked to my husband and we decided to go see my doctor. He said that I was 4 dilated and well on my way to having the baby! Allora was born 10 hours later.

I am also 19 going on 20 and am almost 35wks pg with my first. I too have been experiencing all the symptoms as you. My dr has had me on bedrest since 30 wks. And she told me her guess is with the symptoms I have and the fact that my cervix has shortened and moved forward she doesnt think it will be to long. Although this might now be the real thing ( you will know ) it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and just be prepared. Good luck with you and your little bundle of joy

you are close but i am about to have my second child i am 37 weeks and two cm. dialated and you just never know it could be tomorrow or two weeks everyone is different i have learned you cannot predict

Ok I am 39 weeks as of tomorrow....For the past 48 hours I have been having really strong painful contractions only problem is they will not become regular...they are about 10-30 min apart....but when they come they make me want to cry....I have had other contractions that just made my stomach feel tight but these are now pretty painful. Today I have decided to keep a log and in the past 10 min I have had 4 contractions some are painful while others are not....The worst part of them is that they are in my back and go into my abdomen. I went to the hospital yesterday for them but when I got there they subsided for the hour I was there but then came back and they seem to be doing the same today! Still very painful!! Does anyone have any advise as to how much longer??? Also last Sunday part of my mucus plug came out and then again this morning more came out that is now a greenish color when the first time it was white or clear! Somebody please help me figure out my body! My due date is June 15th. I am 2 1/2 cm dialated and 70-80% effaced. I dialate about a cm a week but my contractions are just getting painful!
