I have been having every labor symptom -- menstrual cramps, lots of pressure down below, lost mucous plug over 2 weeks ago, 2 cm. dialated, crabby and irritable, emotional, overdue 4 days--now all of a sudden I am so constipated like never before. Has anyone heard of this at 40 weeks along (4 days overdue)--is this a sign of impending labor--should I call my doctor, I am not sure what to do! I took milk of magnesia this morning and have eaten 4 prunes--still nothing.....very uncomfortable.
