I am 10 weeks pregnant. For weeks now I wake up at 2:00 a.m and am unable to fall back to sleep. Has anyone gone through this?

Oh yes, I have the insomnia, too. I just can't go to sleep. And then when I finally do, I wake up a million times in the night. I am also 10 weeks and I was so looking forward to being able to sleep well the first couple of months because everyone says you're so tired during that time, but no way that is happening. It really sucks, because then I am sleepy in the afternoon from not getting good enough sleep the night before. Honestly, I am really hoping to get some good sleep by the time this whole thing is over with.

Im 24 weeks along and for some reason i stay up all night until about 6 or 7am then go to bed. I only get a few hours of sleep because my daughter gets up around 8:30 or 9. Ive tried staying up all night and all day but once night comes around again i cant get to sleep again. Talking about an insomniac.lol

LOL - I JUST posted the same question! You are not alone, I have been unbearably tired b/c I've been waking EVERY night and simply cannot fall to sleep again. I am 14wks and it tires me out just thinking of this continuing!! ahaha - I actually think it may be in part to the weather as well. Its been so uncomfortable at night and during the day, so that could be it too. :)

I had horrible insomnia when I was 4 and 5 months and I'm now 8 months and still have an occasional night where I don't sleep. At one point I was up for almost 4 days strait! It was one of the worst times in my life. I have to blame it on pregnancy though because I've never had a sleep problem in my life until I got pregnant!! The way I got over it and learned to just deal was accept it and go with it. If you can't sleep, don't. If you are tired, rest. AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!
