I had a very faint pinkish/brownish discharge when I wiped the day before yesterday. It only happened once that day. Yesterday it happened again. I went to urgent care and they didnt do much, just a urine test to confirm still pregnant. It happened once more before I went to bed. I made an emergency appt. with OB today. I had it once more before my appt today. I brought in the tissue I wiped with to show him. He did a transva___al ultrasound and could not yet detect the heartbeat but said it was still very early (he kept saying that while he was looking, "It's just sooo early, it's so early"). He said my uterus looked good and the baby was high up in there so I guess that's good? I got my first bloodtest today to check the HCG level. I have the second one on Saturday. I'm 24 years old and healthy. Any advice or reassurance? My husband and I have been having unprotected s_x since May '06 and it just now finally happened so I'm just really crossing my fingers and trying to think positive.

My husband I went through the same thing. No condom for 3 years, still didnt get pregnant! I started taking pre-natal pills and got pregnant within 2 months.... miscarried in July and found out I was pregnant again this past december. I had the brownish discharge for 3 weeks strainght during my first trimester and I am now 33 weeks pregnant. You'll be okay! I went to the er right away and there was no heart beat at almost 7 weeks. The dr told me I might mis carry but when I went back in for a fetal liability ultrasound there was a heart beat at 8 weeks. Just stay calm...

I had the same thing with my first baby... started brownish pink as soon as I took the positive pg test. Lasted a few days then went away. My doctor checked my progesterone and found it to be low. I start on progesterone pills and had a healthy baby girl. Ask about your progesterone level and see if you need to take it for a little while. Best wishes.. I bet all will be fine. I am in my second pg and did not experience the same things this time and am currently 34 weeks along. Good luck. Keep us posted.
