Suffering From Diarrhea Whilst 18 Weeks

Has anyone suffered from diarrhea whilst pregnant.? I'm 18 weeks and have a bug says the doctor. It was very bad the first day.I was that anxious I ended up seeing the Dr and he said because it was so bad I should take some Imodium. He said normally he would tell me to drink plenty of fluids but he said I couldn't go on like this."I hope I have done the right thing". It is now Thursday night and I'm still having diarrhea nowhere near as bad but I'm concerned it will harm the baby. I feel silly in asking this but I'm so worried I thought someone may have some thoughts, experience or Idea's for me. Thanks Sharon

I am also worried about this bc i am having alot of diarrhea too.
