How much tylenol can my wife take per day? For back pain and backaches...she delivers on March 11th. Thanks!

Follow the instructions on the bottle. Tylenol is safe to take, so as long as she doesnt go over the dosage on the bottle, she should be fine.

I am suffering from severe pain in my teeth. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it until the baby is born in March. I take tylenol and vicodin occa__sionally. I consulted with my OB and got permission. My OB said no more than 5 tylenol a day because it causes liver failure... Has anyone ever taken vicodin during pregnancy???

Tylonol can cause liver failure but rarely...it effects the liver after long term, high usage, pregnant or not...vicodin is also safe during pregnancy, but I would try to take the least amount of anything possible..good luck

Safe dosage is up to 4000mg or 4 gms per day. 2 extra strength qid or 4x day
