I am 30 Wks Pregnant and my Vagina has been hurting for the past week. Can anyone relate and what do I do? I dont want to go to the hospital because I dont know if it is serious.

I would go to your doctor just to be on the safe sid.e. this is my second pregnancy, and I've had a lot of pain and cramping with this baby unlike with the first one which I had no problems with. For me, there wasn't really much of an explanation..they tested me for Gall stones, etc.....but I experience a lot of soreness in my v____a also, still. My dr told me that warm baths or showers can help though...they do too...sometimes I have 2 baths a day....

I don't think it is serious. I have had pains around there too and I am 20 weeks. It is actually a pretty common complaint. It supposedly is either caused from the increased secretions that can irritate it more, or hormones making the elasticity of it change so baby can come out easier.

ya i have that it hurt alot really it feels like i'v had alot of s_x witch i havn't and i an 37 weeks

I have sevre pain down there alot if times, it's ok when im sitting but moving, laying down, and especially walking make me walked hunched over. My dr says it's completly normal, I thought so but thought no harm in asking, it;s just ligaments stretching. I am 25 weeks and 6 days.
