I think that I might be pregnant, I haven't had my period all month long, last month it was normal, and now July has went by and I still haven't had my period and roday I went to the bathroom and found dark brown discharge on my underwear, it looked like dried blood but I really don't know and I'm getting scared. Somebody please help!!!

Went to the doc and we are awaiting HCG levels to see if the pregnancy is progressing. What was news to me is that its very important to know your blood type if you know you are pregnant and start to spot or bleed. If you are RH negative, and there is a risk that you are miscarrying, you need to get a shot of Rhogam within 72 hours to ensure that RH incompatibility problems don't develop and affect future pregnancies. I am B+, so there wasn't a problem, but my OB/GYN would have sent me to the emergency room to get the shot if i was negative.

Hi, I wrote before about having brown discharge and spotting. I just thought I'd let you know what happened incase any of you go through the same thing. I had discharge about 3 or 4 weeks after getting pregnant then spotting. I got a little bit pain in my side too but not severe. Then after about 5 weeks, the pain got a little worse and the blood turned a bit more red in colour occa__sionally. The pain was coming and going and sometimes it became unbearable. Then I collapsed at home. I was taken to hospital and scanned immediately. I had an ectopic pregnancy and was rushed into theatre straight away for an operation. It is SO important to get a scan as early as you can. The hospital said that they can find out where the pregnancy is even after 3 or 4 weeks even if there is no heartbeat yet. Please, if you are in doubt, get a scan and put your mind at ease and rule out an ectopic pregnancy. I just got home from the hospital now. If I hadn't got to the hospital in time, my tubes would have ruptured - which is life threatening. I'm sure most of you are fine but it's wise to get scanned and checked as soon as you can. i had my period for 3 days in july and then a week later i had some discharge that looked like old blood,brownish. not a lot just a lil or when i would wipe my self took two pregnancy test came out negative. this is very strange for me for when i get my period i bleed heavy for 5 days. had two past pregnancies and never had period. could i be pregnant?

I have just been getting brown discharge..and I don't know what it is...I had my period last month right on schuedule, and I haven't gotten this one yet only because it's not the end of the month. I'm on the pill, and i DO NOT want to get pregnant, but this brown discharge makes me very nervous..does anyone know what it's from..also it doesn't show up when I wipe, only on my underwear, and it doesn't have an odor? help please

My wife and I are trying to have our first child. She has very regular periods. Usually she has brown discharge on day 1 then regular bleeding for about 5 days. This time she had brown discharge on day 1,2,3 and now day 4. Is there any chance she could be pregnant?

my gf and i have never had s_x. she is a virgin. while on vacation we had intercourse but not fot long cause she got scared. the next day she had brown discharge only when she wiped. she was to suppose to start the next week and now she is a week late. any ideas ladies. please help

Hi, I have a question that maybe someone can relate to. I recently had my period that was shorter than normal and was 2 weeks late. I finished and about a week and half later I started to get a discharge that was brown. What is this and why is this happening? Can anybody help me?

hi ladies, iam looking 4 an answer too, the thing is iam 22 just nmy last period was a week n a half ago n iam getting blooy discharge al the time but its not a lot i already have a son who is 2 n a half n ive had the coil in 4 2yrs now i no that the coil is not always safe iam just worried can anybody help? thankyou

i didn't have a period in june but at the end of july when af was due I only got brown discharge with a little blood..i thought I was going to start because be4 my af brown discharge is normal but i didn't get the normal flow....now i have some kinda lotion like discharge not heavey but i can see it when i wipe...it dosen't smell or look funny just ... i dunno...this never happened to me..should i go for a test

I am 9 weeks and today when i went to the bathroom i noticed a discharge that had a little bit of brown in it, I know alot of you are saying that it could be old blood , but it was a little mucusy any advice????

hi people i hope u dont mind me enterin this convo well i came on my period on the 19th july and it lasted 4 about 5 days and on the 9th day i had unprotected s_x and den a week l8er i thought i wuld b havin intercourse again and so decided 2 take 1 of my pills in which i stopped takin them ages ago as i was always 4gettin about them and 3 days rfter i had s_xual intercourse again unprotected and its now tuesday the 9th and i have just noticed this brown discharge in my underwear and am relly worried wat it mite be please culd sumbody giv me advice im 2 scared and embarrased 2 go 2 the doctors thanx xxxxx

Joy, the same thing happened to me, and I wish I had an answer for you..but im clueless.

i am 8 weeks pregnant and having a brown discharge. it is not alot but i see it. i went to the doctor and had a u/s and the doctor saw the sac and everything but he said the baby is still too small for him to see. he said as long as i do not see red blood, have any clots, or severe cramps i should be fine. he also took the camera probe and inserted into my v____a to see if my cervix and my uterus was okay and everything looked fine.he said he saw alot of old blood but nothing that was threating. he still wanted me to follow up with him next week so that he can monitor the baby.
