is it ok to spot red blood during early pregnancy if it is not heavy??

Well, as you can see from the note above, I am having alot of the same troubles with the brown discharge and pregnancy symptoms, well got the blood test back today and they were negative....what else could be causing me to spot light brown for two day...I am really confused...Has anyone had this problem with haveing all the symptoms, but neg blood test? Any input would be great. Thanks :)

hey julie, it me again... i'm sorry that this is happening to you. however, i think that you should see your gyn immediately because maybe you are back up and something isn't letting the blood come down. Maybe it's nothing but check anyway. ;0)

Hi Barbara....Thanks for the confidence. I am going back to the doctor and he is sending me to another GYN immediately. I will definitly keep you posted. So how have you been feeling? Are you still having the discharge? Did you call your GYN? I am sure everything is good, the discharge is more common then we all think. Another Friend of mine is about 6 months pregnant and she has been spotting the brown dicharge since she found out she was pregnant and everything is fine....Best of luck.

Hola Julie.... ;0).... the discharge went away... it always comes and goes.. which kinda makes me alittle nervous but because it's common i don't feel as worried anymore... i feel good and my appointment is on nov. 14 so i look forward to seeing my baby and knowing that he/she okay. I have very regular 28 day cycles. Two days before the period I had some blood when I wiped. It stopped there. On Friday, I did not get my period which was strange, cause it alwayse comes on time. On Monday I noticed some discharge. It was very brown. Anyone with similar experience?

I have been tryn to get pregnant for a while now and the other day after s_x,I noticed a lil pink then some brown discharge but that was all.Did that happen to you?could I be pregnant??

i am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant. i had an ultrasound 1 week ago and the doc said everything looked great & we even heard & saw the heartbeat. yesterday i began noticing brown discharge but no cramping. some sites say i may be having a miscarriage & some say it's normal unless the blood turns red. please help me i'm extremely worried.

Hello, again! My period is late: 11 days). Last night after my husband and I slept together I went to the washroom to pee after I wiped my self I saw little (could say 2-3 drops) of light pink and white discharge..I thought my period will start...In the morning I was surprise to see that there was no blood at all..Today again I have come and go headache + feel very tired, and my appet_te is increasing big time...I am thinking to go get some p-test again, but afraid to get negative result again...(I did 3 test all negative last one was when I was 6 days late..Did I test too early???.:( Oh, God, Am I pregnant hopefully, or what's going on??It's been 11 days late by now?????Pls tell me what you think about my case?

Please let me share my story... i took 3 home pregnancy test and one at a health clinic ( they were all urine test) and of course they were all negative.. could you imagine taking 4 test and then taking a fifth at a doctor's office and finding out that you are pregnant.. because i am... i saw my little peanut for the first time a couple of weeks ago... but i get to hear his/her heart beat Nov 14... my advice is get a blood test.... asap... I wish you the best and just wanted to say that those things aren't always right... oh and for the record i was 6 weeks pregnant and got negative pee test.. that sucks right... but anyway good luck keep me posted.. ;0)

i am 5 weeks and yesterday I noticed the brown discharge, today i have really really light pink discharge but am starting to get a little crampy... I guess thats an ominous sign??????

i am on the patch which makes my periods come like clockwork. last month my period lasted all 5 days but it was a lot lighter than normal. the day it ended, oct 14, my boyfriend and i had intercourse, along with the following 2 days. last friday, oct 28, i noticed a brown discharge when i went to the bathroom. it's still here today and it's enough that i need a napkin or something to keep it from staining my undies. my patch comes off tomorrow for the beginning of my pd but it normally doesn't come until the following sunday or monday. any ideas what's going on? every once in a while i get brown discharge 1-2 days beforehand, but not an entire week or more. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

it's me again. there is now a little bit of light blood mixed with the brown discharge. i have never been early for my period ever since i've been on the patch which has been almost 2 yrs. my b/f and i only use my patch and withdrawl for contraceptives and i don't believe he ejaculated when we had intercourse. i'm not sure what's going on. it wouldn't be ovulation breakthrough bleeding because that would have occurred the week before right? i have been feeling kinda naseated but that could just be nerves. am i pregnant or is this something else? any suggestions would help. thanks!

Hi, I was checking the site for brown discharge. I am at 4dpo today and the weirdness started yesterday when I had pain on my lower left side that was obvious during movement and when coughing. This morning, this pain was gone and replaced by twingy/pinching on the drive to work.. Weirder yet is that when I went pee first thing this morning there was a watery brown discharge filling my white underwear. What the heck could that be? It was kind of scary. DH and I BD'd last night but it wasn't rough or anything and my cervix is in a very high position right now so nothing was touched. Between the pain and the discharge I have no clue what it could be at 4dpo? Anybody have any advice?
