I HAD BROWN DISCHARGE AT 5 WEEKS, 7 WEEKS, 9 AND 11 WEEKS, IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE AND AT FIRST I DID FEEL LIKE I WAS GOING TO GET MY PERIOD BUT DIDNT. THE DOCTOR SAID IT IS NORMAL FOR WOMAN TO SPOT IN THE BEGINNING OF PREGNANCY BECAUSE UR INSIDES ARE STRECTHING AND PREPARING TO HOLD A BABY. HOWEVER IF IT BECOMES REALLY RED AND U ARE EXPERIENCING BAD CRAMPS THEN I WOULD GO TO DOCS IMMEDIATELY, THAT COULD PROBABLY MEAN U ARE GOING TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE. HOPE THIS HELPED. GOOD LUCK!

hey, i came on here yesturday looking to see if my discharge was normal and i felt rea__sured. unfortunatly a couple of hours later the brown discharge got redder, then i started having cramps. i had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. just make sure u get anything that concerns u checked out

I have had brown discharge on and off for about 1 1/2 weeks. However, I had a D&E on the 28th. After the D&E I bled lightly for 4 days then nothing for a bit. Do you think my brown liquidy blood only when I wipe and the brown cm could be from that? Or could I be lucky enough to be pr again? I do have other symptoms, but don't want to get too excited b/c they could be from af.

I am 10 weeks pregnant and have the same thing, I consulted with a nurse and it seems that it is old blood being released from the body.

I am seven weeks pregnant and I have the same brownish discharge. This supposely is quite normal and all you should do is keep an eye on it.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have had brown discharge with some clots for about 2 weeks now. Have had 2 ultrasounds and am scheduled for the third one . 2nd ultrasound showed the heartbeat which means the growth is fine. Keeping my fingers crossed for the third one.

Hi, I have just starting getting some brown discharge too. I called my midwife and she told me to take it easy for the next few days and it is quite normal. However I still feel concerned but as long as it doesn't get redder I am trying not to worry. She also asked if I had a positive blood type and said it was good that I did?

hi, i have been feeling like im pregnant, and i missed a couple of pills last month. but i have been having a light brown discharge for 4 days. but my periods are always quite heavy. could i be pregnant please help me answer this. the nurse said to see at the end of the month. i want to know now. i'd love it if i was. thanks

this is my 5th day of missed period & we have been try for baby... but today i have notices brown discharge when i wipe off... does that mean i am misscarring or am i still preg... i am really worried .....

Hello, I too am having a brown bloody discharge. I know I am pregnant, we just don't know how far along. In september we had a miscarriage and since then I've had irregular cylcles. But I went to the doctor and the test was positive. My hcg level was at 48,000 on the day I started having a discharge. I started with bright red blood when I wiped and since then I've had occa__sional brown blood. I went to the doctor and she couldn't provide me with an answer. I go back on Tuesday to see what's going on. Hopefully, there still is a baby in the oven. I just don't know what to think. I have no cramps or red blood, just brown blood every now and then wehn I wipe. I would just be devistated if this was another miscarriage. Any answers out there.

here's the deal folks. If you bleed lightly a couple days around the time you should have your period, it is probably what they call implantation bleeding (the egg attaching to the wall of your uterus) Then brownish discharge is normal and yes, some women still have light bleeding around the time of their period even if they're pregnant, but it will be much lighter than normal. My advice is for anyone who isn't sure if they're pregnant to go out and get a test (from the doc or the home kind) and find out for sure so you can start preparing for the little one, and everyone who knows they're pregnant, keep an eye on what's happening and if it gets brighter or heavier... get checked immediately... Confused? I just ended my period 2 weeks ago and started taking a different type of pill. My fiance and I have only had s_x once after finishing my period while I was taking the pills now I am having brown discharge that comes and goes. Is this normal for switching pills or is there a chance I might be pregnant?
