Crystal, from what I have read online some women do bleed and are perfectly fine. Some even have periods during pregnancy. But you should see your doctor, or call your doctor as soon as possible and let them know all your symptoms. I have had one miscarriage and am pretty sure I am having my second right now. My symptoms were brown spotting flowed by a period type flow. The first pregnant I hemorrhaged and had an emergency D&C. This time around (if it is indeed a miscarriage) is bleeding like a heavy period and having clots pa__s when I urinate. So, best thing is to get into the docs as soon as you can. I have always been told to rest and take it easy if you bleed.

Alaina, I am so sorry to hear that .I was hoping things would turn around. I know what you going through and I feel your pain. I am 30 and I have had 2 miscarriages in 5 months and I wonder if I am ever going to be able to have a baby. I have done some research which may be of help. 1 doctor Joseph A. Hill, III is a specialist in recurrent pregnancy loss. Google him and check him out he has wrote many articles which I think may be of some help. I wouldn't put off a family for school try and do both if you can. It is going to happen just might be a little longer then we expected. =) Never give up and stay strong. Keep me posted!

So it is final, the miscarriage is happening. Now for the second time in my life I feel hopeless and lost at the thought of my baby. This is my second miscarriage. I am going to see my dr. in about 30 min to make sure I am pa__sing the baby safely. Life seems so un-fare and difficult right now. You find your self asking why me? I am a good person and would make a fantastic mother. Why did I get this lot? When my husband and I want children so desperately? Life is full of such immense love and intensely wonderful things, and then you have moments such as this that make you wish you could go to sleep forever. I pray that myself, as well as those other women who have had miscarriages will be able to have our ultimate dream, our baby. You lie in bed thinking of all those little things, the way they will look, the fantastic clothes you will buy, what holding your child will feel like in that first moment you meet. For some of us that time has been put on hold and filled with doubt and remorse. It is my prayer that every woman out there is able to find comfort, peace, and love in this time of need. alaina- im so sorry to here what your going through i had a miscarriage 3 months ago and am now 7 weeks pregnant. I miscarried at 8 weeks last time so am very frightened the same thing is going to happen.We dont no why these things happen and it is so hard when people say it was meant to be and i found it so hard to talk to people who had never experienced a miscarriage as they had no idea how devastating it is and how it feels all your dreams are lost.I am sure you will get through it and my heart goes out to you feel free to talk if you like all the best dani x

Im 13 wks pregnant and having a discharge for 3rd time. Have had a scan 3 times and everything was fine but im still very worried as the docs and midwife said that it could lead to a miscarriage anyway. Dont know what to do.

For my past 2 menstrual cylces i was only on my period for 1 day for each month and all it wasnt even a period...it was like brown spotting ...brown discharge?? could i be pregnant ?

i just want to say i'm sorry for your loss i to have had 2 miscarriages i hurts a great deal. I'm now on clomid and i thought i was pregnant. I had the tender b___bs, emotions , was feeling sick. but now i have a very heavy dark brown discharge. i am about to go into my 9th week. I am concerned that I may be having or already had a m/c because I have been having brownish discharge for about 2 weeks now. I found out was pregnant and everything was fine until the next week. I was never a big period person. Always on time but lasted maybe 1/2 a day or 1 day. Well about a week after finding out I was pregnant I started spotting brown and light pink. I thought for sure it was my period, because for me, that's as much as my period was. It stopped after about 2 1/2 weeks and I was told by my obgyn that it was spotting! Who knew?

i had my period exactly 2 weeks ago and then i started the pill up again after i had stopped taking it for about 4 months. 2 weeks later, i noticed light brown spots and then it gradually got heavier and heavier... now i have to use a tampon for it. i have cramps, as well, but they're not too bad. someone i asked said its just my period, but i have never had it this early and its VERY DARK BROWN, more brown than red... i have also been extremely tired and nausious lately - even to the point where i had to leave work early. Am i just panicking like my boyfriend says i am, or should i be concerned?

hi. i have the same problem. but i had my normal period 12 days ago (no pregnancy test was done) It was regular all the way threw like usual but it is always heavythe first 4-5 days,12 days later i noticed brown discharge only when i wipe. can somebody please help me and get back to me asap
