i would have to agree that it was probably food poisioning. if you got your period 3 days after you had s_x, i would think that you were fine and not pregnant. i am no doctor, but i have had 3 children and feel like i have been through "it all". what you can do to help you know when your ovulation is, Your date of ovulation is calculated by subtracting 14 to 16 days from the date of your next period. This is an approximation and may not be exact for every woman. These calculations may not be accurate if your cycle is less than 21 days long or more than 35 days long, or if your menstrual cycle is irregular from month to month. if you within the next week notice any changes that are out of the ordinary, either go see your ob/gyn or take a home pregnancy test just for rea__surance, but i would rest asure, at least for now. I was wondering if someone can help me! My last period was April 22nd through April 26th. On May 8th (12 dys after my period, I had reddish brown spotting that lasted for 2 dys with severe cramping in my right side. I went to Urgent care, they sent me to emerg. where they did a urine & blood test, both neg for pregnancy. (they did not do an ultrasound) Well it is now June 3rd and I still have not started my period since April. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests, both are negative. Thank you. I am still waiting to see if I'm prg. or not. I think I may have tested too early. I should start my period anytime from today till the 15th. If I havent had my period by the 15th then I think its very likely I am prg. I hope I am. I cannot explain the unusual bleeding when I have never had that before. I took a test yesterday and it said neg. however, its hard to calculate when my period will start as I start anywhere from day 19 to day 28. Thanks for advice.

I tested again today..the 7th and neg. is it possible I still tested too early. I still have 8 more days before my period starts, any thoughts??

well i'm not pregnant at least i think i'm not and i am having the same problem can somebody tell me what it is because i am young and scared.

i was having the unusual brown discharge 2 weeks after my period was done. i just went to the doctors for a biopsy and ultrasound and they did find a ma__s they said was either tissue, polyp, or fibroid. i am having another fluid filled ultrasound this week but if your not pregnant and having any unusual symptoms, than its always best to see your physician. it very well could be nothing but always better to be on the safe side. all my best~

I need some advise. I don't know how far along I would be, but am pregnant. My last af was March 22 then on April 21st I had one day of spotting. Took a clinical test May 9th negative then again on May 31st positive. Well this weekend I started a brownish discharge. I have had a back ache for three days! lower back. The discharge is not there when I wipe but when I go up there a ways. I first noticed it though when I wiped. It seems to be less this morning but I have been laying all night. Also I had one time yesterday where it was a darker brown not light like before and it looked like a little bit of cervical mucus. My bbs don't seem as sore but are tender. I am on progestrone pills though. Any adive to ease my mind would be great. Doctor won't do ultrsound till Monday. Thank you.

How far along are you? Is yours lite brown like color of sand? I have not been very active today just lying around. Maybe I should not be so lazy because if it is a miscarriage I'd just soon get it over.

My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby. We have unprotected s_x everyday. Newayz Lately off and on I have been having brown discharge coming out of my virgina. Although for like the first day it is more red then brown then it turns brown. It is more googie rather than liquied. im 13 weeks pregnant. this is my 3rd pregnancy.1st two ended in miscarraige, i started bleeding a week ago bright red and that lasted for two days.this morning ive just started bleeding dark brown. the only pain i have is like ive got wind. very scared. had an ultrasound yesterday and saw baby moving. though now im worried again cause ive started bleeding. can anyone talk to me.

My wife and I, just got married, were having s_x.. with the light on for a change. I noticed that there was a brown discharge with small 'clumps'. My first a__sumption was old blood as the last day of her cycle was yesterday. Doubt she is pregnant. She was on the depo provera for a year and finally got her off it. This period was the heaviest she's ever had. So question: is the discharge old blood or something else?

I am almost 8 wks pregnant. I too have had a brown discharge when I wipe. It's scaring the hell out of me. Have talked to the doc & he's arranging a scan - I'm so scared I will miscarry :(

To Maria and any other totally terrified mothers who are wondering if you are miscarrying because of brown spotting - don't worry just yet! Do call your doctors to set up an appointment or to talk to a nurse on the phone or something. I am almost 8 weeks pregnant, noticed some brown discharge in my underwear and when I wiped, and have had some constant lower back pain - was totally convinced I was going to miscarry or suffer blighted ovum. After talking with a nurse pract_tioner at my OB's office she was able to diagnose it right away. She asked, "Have you had intercourse in the last 48 hours?" I had, and she explained that brownish discharge is often stirred up from the cervix after intercourse or even after an internal exam. I had no idea, as I had not read anywhere that this could be a possible explanation! Of course, it may not be the answer for some of you - but DO talk to or see a doctor (or INSIST on an ultrasound) if you are even the slightest bit concerned before you panic, as I did. Hi guys. I feel kinda ashamed that Im writing this..Im only 14 years old and on Saturday I had s_x with my boyfriend. I know its only Monday...but since Sunday when I wiped I had a dot of blood, followed by clear discharge with a brown speckle in it.. tapped as if it were in a bubble. Since Sunday.. everytime I wiped I got brown discharge. Its kind of early to be having these symptoms ( reading everyone else..far along) .. or is it? Can someone please help me out! I dont want to ask my mom.. because if Im not pregnant I dont want to get myself into something. Ive had sore b___sts and Im cramping for like 5 minutes at a time during random points of the day.
