lately i have been constipated and twice now i have noticed a very very small amount of blood in my bowels. i was thinking it might just be from straining too hard to go to the bathroom. is this normal?

Yes it is normal during pregnancy I had hemroids really bad and did have some bleeding. You need to drink lots of water and eat fruit and foods high in fiber. You may have hemroids internally. Get some Preparation H it helps.

If the blood is bright red, it's normal. Try eating oatmeal with raisins for breakfast every day to relieve constipation. Also, try to take a short walk every day.

my dr. actually told me to use a stool softener and recommeded which kind to buy. it's worked for that but caused me tons of bloating. i'd try the natural high in fiber foods. and yes water is the key to getting it all moving.
