Ahh, yes I remember that. My whole first and second trimester I had the worst acne in the world. We arn't talking about little pimples here and there, we are talking about huge volcano sized zits that came in gangs of five or six at a time. I was using ProActive at the time which used to help, but didn't do anything at all after I got pregnant. I talked to my doctor who said that it's normal. Our hormones are out of wack therefore the bad skin. She said that it goes away after you deliver.

You can't "wash" acne away, and in fact washing too frequently can cause it to become worse, because washing strips the oils, causing your skin to think it's getting dry, causing it to create more oils. I have found the best thing for my pregnancy acne has been proactiv solutions for my face twice a day, and some innoxa young solutions gel on a brush for the rest of my body at my nightly shower followed by the light nivea pump spray moisturiser. Hope that helps!

Try exfoliating....my make up artist gives me facials with Sugar, Lemon Juice, Vitamin E oil and Honey...and my skin went from breaking out to flawless...the ingredients are natural so even if it doesn't work it would further antagonize your skin. Also....peroxide is a great preventive treatment for acne...just be careful cuz its also a bleaching agent (you don't want your dark eyebrows to turn yellow) but it also works goo.d Let me know how it works out.

Hello Vikki, Use organic apple Cider Vineger as suggested in earth clinic.com and you will see the difference in about a weeks time.

A friend of mine who is a nurse says to use Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo, it worked for my husbands acne.
