Hi Ladies, Just wondering does anyone get pain in their hips from sleeping on your side? Thanks!

I had that when I was pregnant. I bought a foam mattress pad and it helped. I also slept with a pillow between my knees.

the pillow definetely helps. I too get the cramping sensations... I actually found that sleeping with the pillow and alternating does help. Even if you place the pillow on your back so that you can still be slightly on your side. this also aleviates the discomfort.

I did. I got it to stop by buying and using a Snoogle pillow, along with putting a feather pillow under my hip at an angle so that it also went under my belly.

I have the same problem! I have to switch sides every 2-3 hours and sleep with a pillow between my legs. It helps but it still isnt fun! Im going to try the pillow under the hip/belly thing. How far along is everyone? Im 18-1/2 weeks.

I'm 29 weeks, but I started getting the hip pain around 16-17 weeks. Hope the pillow works for you JK. Now I'm sure that is what is working for me. Last night I must have moved in my sleep and somehow knocked that pillow completely out from under my hips and stomach - I woke up because of hip pain again for the first time in a long time!

I have the snoogle pillow, I think it helps a little. I just switch sides every 2 hours. I'm 29 weeks tomorrow.
