Iam 30 weeks pregnant and for the past 10 weeks every time I get up from lying down or even sitting down for a while...when I stand up I have an upward shooting pain on both of my inner thighs and I have to move very slowly until it diappears. Does anyone else experience this?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's miserable. I'm carrying twins and am 27 weeks. I haven't been able to figure out what to do to alleviate this. Does anyone have any advice!?

I got this same pain with my first child - the doc sent me to physical therapy - it helped quite a bit. Got the same pain now with 2nd baby... this doc said it's sciatica, baby settling on your sciatic nerve... can't do anything about it, take some tylenol. :( I love my doc, but disagree. The physical therapy worked the first time. I've also heard some women go to a chiropractor who specializes in pregancy. I have a rice bag that I love - take a hand towel, fold in half, sew up two sides, fill with regular white rice, sew up the top. Microwave 30 seconds, smush around and flip, microwave again til warm. Holds heat a long time, but doesn't get too hot. Then, sit on it... heaven!

My Chiropractor told me that pelvic pain is caused by the ligaments stretching and getting ready for birth. Try a magic bag

I also have pain more like a dull ache in my thigh very close to my crotch. It started a few days ago and has not let up. Try stretching it out once in a while or put a little heat on it
