ok - im 8 wks along with my second pregnancy - my first one ended in miscarriage last october - so naturally, im paranoid....yesterday morning, i wake up nauseated..i went to work and gradually through the day it would come and go....about two oclock i started having alot of cramping - but it is up high, not low where my uterus is, then about three i started having diarrhea, with the cramping, but no more nausea. im still cramping - and im scared, but i dont want to call the dr cause im afraid im over reacting...am i?....oh, i had an ultrasound two weeks ago and saw the heartbeat....

it is probably stomach cramping... when I was 4-12 weeks my stomach was all kinds of messed up. it sounds like whatever was causing the diarrhea was causing the cramping, be it a stomach bug or something you ate. good luck.

It sounds like really bad gas to me. The same thing has happened to me throughout my pregnancy. Your digestive system is slowed down because of the progesterone, and that leads to a lot of gas building up in your stomach. As long as it's up high and not down low, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Tums work wonders :o)

I myself have also had the pains higher up.. im not exactly positive of how far i am yet but im about 8 weeks along.. i was worried but at the same time didn't want to stress over it, because it was higher up i figure it was nothing.. not saying i dont still worry from time to time, because i do, maybe because this is my first child.. who knows.. aorry i couldnt be of help, but at least u know, as now do i, ur not the only one sufferin. thank you so much for responding! its good to know im not alone...i talked to several of my friends about it, and none of them could remember if they had this in their pregnancies or not! oh, and taneika - thanks for the tip, tums do work wonders:)
