Tie Tubes During C Section Or Later Please Help

I am thinking about getting my tubes tied/burned/ clamped after my c-section in Jan.... not i am all freaked out about having this done, becasue of all the people getting pregnant after they had their tubes tied. I really don't want any more children after this one. Not to mention my hubby doesn't want to get a vasectomy * i think it is becasue he will feel less of a man.* What should I do?

I'm going in for a c-section on Dec.6th and I'm planning on getting my tubes tied. My husband was going to get a vasectomy but when he talked with a friend he said that it is much easier for us since we are already there wide open for the doc to tie our tubes. His friend said there is no pain or anything. His wife had it done after their 3rd child. He said, it will also save a lot of money and then your husband won't have to take time off of work. I was freaked out too, but I can understand where my husband is coming from. It does make more sense for me to do since I'm already there. I think you should go for it. If your scared then call your doctor and talk with him/her about it.

My sister and law had her tubes tied after having my niece. She figured since she was already there and they were done having kids, it was the easiest thing to do for all parties.
