I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and have been on anti-nausea drugs for my entire pregnancy. I noticed my nausea decreased around the middle of my 2nd trimester. Just hang in there and try and eat easily digestable foods often. Don't worry about weight gain until you are around 28 weeks. Up until that point the baby is just developing, not really putting on weight. They do have other (very pricey) pills that may work better than phenergan. Check with your dr. Hang in there. This too shall pa__s. I currently take half a pill most evenings to reduce nausea, but it is not as severe as the 1st trimester nausea.

im almost 26 weeks and have had the worst m/s ever.. i was throwing up 10-15 times a day every day and no pills or anything stopped my nausea.. this lasted severely until almost 16 1/2 weeks.. then i started feeling much better but still feel sick sometimes and dizzy till now.. i still throw up once a week or 10 days but nothing compared to what i went through at the beginning.. take care and u might notice that ur losing some weight due to vomiting so dont let that worry u a lot.. baby will still get nutrient it needs from what ur body has

I had read studies of using Atomic fire b___s. The heat is supposed to distract your digestive system so your stomach calms down. I used this method my first tri. and I thought it worked like a charm! Good Luck!

I'm 6 wks pregnant now with my second child and haven't had any symptoms yet... i'm so afraid that i will. Has anyone been really sick the first pregnancy, but not sick the second one??? i hope so!

I am currently 18 1/2 weeks along, but I have had m/s since week 8. Its been absolutely the worst thing I've ever experienced...I know how you're feeling, believe me! But, I have been on phenegran...I've tried others, but it works the best. I was even hospitalized for 2 days due to uncontrollable vomitting and severe dehydration...they couldn't even find decent veins to put an IV in...it was AWFUL....about a week ago (my 17th week) I began feeling better, with more energy and now instead of throwing up everyday, I do maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks....its SOOOO much better!!! I still get nausiated but again, its NOTHING like what it was! Now I feel like I can finally enjoy my pregnancy when up until a few weeks ago, I was wondering what in the world had I got myself into! :o) It will all be worth it in the end, I promise!! Hang in there!

I had my first child 18 yrs ago. This time I prayed for no morning sickness, but alas.
I have recently switched anti nausea pills
they seem to stop the gagging reflex that usually leads to my uncontrollable vomiting. The med is called Zofran.Ask your doctor about it;hopefully she can have some free samples to give you;it is a bit pricey.
