I get a YI almost every month since I was about 6 mos. My dr. says the 3 day monistat was fine.

Hi, I've tried the yogourt thing without much luck. My doctor prescribed v____al cream which did nothing, then switched me to v____al nystatin, which seems to be doing the trick. I would check with you ob-gyn before buying any over the counter stuff though. Good luck.

It will help if you poor plain white vinegar into a bath about hip level deep and soak (5-10 min.) a few times a day until its gone. its a lot cheaper than buying the monistat cream and such. Make sure you dry off really good, and try to limit your milk and sugar intake. If sweating is an issue 'down there", wear a pantyliner and change it often. It always works for me.
