hi im just looking for some advice on my situation. Im 28 years old and have never been late at the most its only ever been 2days! im now 12 days late i done on a hpt on the 5th day after my missed period due date and was negative. I did another hpt when i was 7 days late and still negative. I am now 12 days late and not sure whether to take another test or call the dr so i can get a blood test done as i have never been in this position before.

You are not listing any early preg signs other than a missed period. Perhaps you just skipped a cycle. Run another home test a week after the last. If you are pregnant your hpt hormones should be doubling every few days. Blood tests are for women wanting to be pregnant and impatient to wait for a home test to show positive - lol.

Hi thanks for your reply. I've had very mild cramping, headaches and today was feeling really dizzy and sick. I could also sleep for england lol. I didn't want to put all that in the first post I made but I should of done really lol.

That's better. We sometimes hear from women who did not get a positive until two weeks late, and a very few even later. Take another test by all means, take some prenatal vitamins just in case, and if you miss a second period go visit the doctor. Please come back and let us know how it turns out. GL!
