12 Days Late With 1 Negatvie Hpt

Hello I am new to this site, I have a question if anyone can help that would be great. My husband and I are ttc and after being on bc for a short 2 months I came off and my periods have been regualar since then, however in March when my period came on it was very light almost pink and lasted 5 days off an on. April began and I expected to get my period on April 3rd but it never showed up I have had symptoms as if it was going to come on but nothing. I am now experiencing sore br___t, mood swings, light headed and white discharge but still no period. I took a hpt on my 9th late day but it came out negative. My question is has anyone ever experience anything like this and what did you do. I am going to the doc tomorrow to find out what is going on. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
