Eight days seems a bit long and 6 days more normal. Maybe your s_xual debut changed something. If you have now hit one 2-day period, that might mean pregnancy. What kind of protection are you using and what early pregnancy signs are present?

Ok, so I have a couple questions, but here is my back story. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a year, and I have been off BC for the same amount of time. I started tracking my cycle and I seem to be pretty regular. I have 7 day periods, while the last two are always pretty light; it's always about the same. I tried using the ovulation predictors and could not get an accurate reading with the regular ones. My most recent cycle I used clear blue digital and it said I was ovulating on the 2nd. My husband and I had s_x on the first and second, just to cover all our bases. A week later, I started feeling irritable, which I honestly never am (and my husband will attest to that). Also, my b___sts became very tender, and I believe they got bigger, as well. At this I took a pregnancy test 4 days before what should have been my missed period. It was negative. To my dismay, my period started on the 16th as predicted; however, it was extremely heavy for two full days. Normally my period doesn’t get heavy until day 2-3, but it started and ended, very heavily, in two days. I also took a fertility test on the third morning of my “period” as the at home test instructs me to do. The test came back negative (the test line was lighter if not the same color as the reference line, which as the instructions indicate, my FSH levels are too high). After reading all the positive results from people on this website, turning out to be pregnant after a two day period, I took another pregnancy test on the 21st, which again was negative. My questions are as follows: Could the failed fertility test be because I am already pregnant? If so, how long should I wait to take another test? Hopefully yours, Dancer24

P.S. I forgot to mention my most recent pregnancy sign. The highly realistic morning s_x dream I had, just this morning. I'm not extremely s_xual; I've probably had 5 orgasms in my entire life (all within the last two years), but this morning I think I raised the count to about 10! I don't have realistic dreams and I definitely don't have too many s_x dreams, but this was entirely different. I'm getting worked up just thinking about it again. I can't wait to get home to my husband!
