7 Week Scan No Fetal Pole Pg1283265142

I went for a U/S on Tuesday and by my workings I should be between 6+5 and 7+1 weeks as I only had s_x once all month. The doc would only give me a pelvic scan, not a va___al one and he saw only sac, yolk sac and thickened uterus, he said he thought it looked extremely healthy for 5.5 weeks but theres no way I could be wrong on my dates! I have had bloods done Fri today and will get results Tomorrow to see if doubling, I am eva hopefull but fear the worst as had a blighted ovum in March and lost it at 7 weeks. I read a post that on pelvic scan it is not unusual to not see fetal pole as not as sensitive as internal U/s can anyone shed further light. I am booked in for anoth u/s on Friday but a week is a long wait and any advice in the meantime would be greatly welcomed.This will be my third m/c if its gone again! I am still taking my prenatals etc and hoping for the best!Has anyone had similar at 7 weeks not visable on pelvic scan, but was on internal. I am thinking of asking for one but doc says small % increase of bringing on a m/c!?

I just had bloods back and they rose from 63,000 on Fiday to 91,000 Tuesday, doc said this was satisfactory but doesnt seem right too me? Any answers to this and my post above? Please

hi! I will share my experience with you and see if that helps in anyway. Well i was ttc for almost 7 years due to endometriosis and cysts on ovaries and finally fell pregnant in february! A few days after i found out i started bleeding and went to hospital and had a v____al scan which showed a yolk sac but no fetal pole. I was 5 weeks and 5 days at this point so they told me to come back in 2 weeks time! The wait almost killed me it seemed like forever! When i went back i was 7 weeks and 3 days and they did a abdominal ultrasound and found my baby straight away she was measuring 11mm and you could easily see her you could even make out her head! But all pregnancies are different and progress in there own time i seriously hope you see what you want to see when you go for your next scan. My baby girl is due in november and i know im extremely lucky to be carrying her with all the problems ive had and i wish the same for you! Good luck! X

Thankyou for your response, I went back today and the nurse from hospital did scan, she couldn't understand why no fetal pole at 7 week scan as now I have a healthy 1.8 cm kidney bean with a strong HB! Maybe just hiding, it proves never give up hope, I'd written this one off as my third m/c but all is ok at present. I prayed everynight and my miracle baby was granted, x

thats great news im so pleased for you! Must feel like such a relief after all you have been through but bet it hasnt really sunk in yet has it? I know it took a while for it to sink in for me and not sure if it actually has yet lol x
