Hello, I am using the Fertility Awareness Method and my husband and I are trying to conceive. Today is the fourth day after our unprotected s_x (during which I believe I was ovulating), and my br___ts (especially my nipples) are EXTREMELY sore. My br___ts also feel hot to the touch and my nipples look a bit engorged/swollen. I was excited when I read that this was an early pregnancy symptom, but now after doing some more research, I've found that br___t tenderness usually doesn't occur until at least a week or two after conception. My eating habits also were weird today and my sense of smell was very strong. I normally have a very hard time picking up scents, and even before my period my br___ts have never felt this tender. Is it possible that I could already be experiencing pregnancy symptoms, even though it's only been 4 days?

Some early signs commonly occur a week before a missed period. A few women notice signs several days earlier than that. Keep your fingers crossed, and remember that pregnancy tests look for a different hormone, one that does not increase until a little later. Save your test money until menstruation is late or light. Good luck!
