Im 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant to my guessing and i dont have an apt. with my gyno till Nov. 8th since shes on vacation. First day of my last period was Oct. 1st. I misscarried my first pregnancy in Aug. at exactly 5 weeks and had pretty intense cramps with that one. Im worried that this pregnancy is leading in the same direction however i do not cramp near as much as i did with the first nor are my cramps that intense as the first. So my Q. is would i be at high risk since ive misscarried before and im having period (mild) like cramps with this baby? I feel them more when i wake up in the morning or i have to pee and my bladder is full. Ive gotten 6 positive pregnancy tests (im an addict). i guess i freak out at every twinge cuz im so scared of losing this baby but i must admit i do have very high hopes this time and it just feels different! The first i just had an awful gut feeling something wasnt right and with this one i just feel like God is going to guide me through this whole pregnancy but at times i need reasurance! Anybody had any expierense with this or going thru same thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cramping early in pregnancy is pretty common. Even you said yourself the cramping feels different than it did when you miscarried, so that should be a good sign. If you start bleeding with the cramping then you should definitely be concerned and be seen right away (I had cramping and bleeding early in this pregnancy but everything is fine now at 14 weeks) but doesn't necessarily mean you will miscarry. I am sorry for what you went through and I can understand why you would be so worried, but trust your instincts too. If you know in your heart this baby will be okay then I'm sure you are right. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest.

Thanks for the response i greatly appreciate it. I got my blood taken Monday the 8th and got my results back yesterday morning and my HCG was 710 and my progesteron was 17.67. Nurse told me that my levels are good and went back this morning for more blood work and will find the results out tomorrow to make sure my levels are doubling. Do you remember what your levels were at around 5 weeks?? I know everyone is different i just hope mine are rising like they should be. The cramping doesnt happen as much anymore and i get majority of them at night. So far so good!!
