Hello Ladies,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the PGD testing for gender selection? I have 2 boys already and I really want a little girl to complete our family. I have read a ton of stuff online about it and due to its success rate for gender selection I am starting the process to have this done.
So I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has done IVF/PGD and how many cycles did it take for you to get pregnant? The country that we live in does not do PGD for gender selection so we are planning on traveling to the US to have it done. I am hoping that I get pregnant during the first round but what should I realisticly expect? How many cycles? Also, being that I haven't had any previous fertility problems, will that help increase my chances of getting pregnant the first cycle?
Thanks in advance for any info or tips that you may have for me!

Hi SoReady,
we too are thinking about getting this done but as we have only just started looking into it i don't really have any advice for you.... sorry. If you don't mind sharing, where abouts are your going to get this done? We have been looking into the Huntington clinics in California but are not sure yet. What we are finding hard to find out is the cost? Roughly how much are you anticipating on spending on PGD Gender Selection and how many cycles are you thinking of doing?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
ps. there was a show on 60mins about a couple in VIC I think who had 7 boys and went to the US for a girl. She got pregnant the first time and then went back to get her second embryo implanted... she was 8 weeks pregnant when the story went to air. Have a look at the 60mins website as the story's on there at the moment.
