Horrible Right Side Pain Help Needed

I'm a healthy 32yo in my 21st week - all signs and tests say I'm having a normal and healthy pregnancy however, I have this "st_tch" in my right side, half way between my pelvic bone and ribs that is causing me a lot of grief. I spend my days working in an office and by noon hour I'm in tears from the pain but after going home and stretching/laying down over the break, I can handle it for another few hours again. It makes for REALLY long and painful days.
I've spoken to my doctor about it and he said that it's typical for pregnant women to have minor aches and pains. My partner says I just need to stretch more but I know that if I wasn't pregnant I'd be in the Emerg demanding tests to be done.
Any suggestions of what it could be so I can talk rationally with my doctor about it tomorrow? Right now all I can do is cry and try not to beg him to do something, anything.

Does not sound "minor" to me, and too long-lived to be Braxton Hicks contractions, I think. What did the doc say?
