I AM 31 YEARS OLD. DECEMBER 28 2011 I HAD AN ABDOMINAL MYOMECTOMY AND A WEDGE RESECTION OF BOTH OVARIES. IT WAS A MAJOR SURGERY, AN INCISION ON MY LOWER ABDOMEN. I WAS OUT OF HOSPITAL AFTER 6 DAYS. I AM HEALING WELL AND RIGHT NOW I CAN DO MOST OF THE THINGS APRT FROM SOME FEW EXERCISES LIKE JUMPING LIKE THINGS THAT I CANT STILL DO. I WAS ADVISED TO TTC AFTER 6 MONTHS. I LIVE WITH MY HUSBAND AND HE IS DESPERATE FOR US TO HAVE A CHILD SINCE WE HAVE TRIED FOR YEARS AND NOTHING. I AM SCARED TO CONCIEVE NOW EVEN WHEN I FEEL NO PAIN IN THE STOMACH AND I ALSO HAVE TO FOLLOW MY GYN;S ADVISE. I AM WORRIED THAT I MIGHT NOT CONCIEVE. HAS ANYONE EVER GONE THROUGH THE SAME AND THEY CONCIEVED? WE ARE DESPERATE TO HAVE OUR OWN BABY AND WE NEED TO GET IT THROUGH NATRAL MEANS. CAN SOME ONE OUT THERE GIVE US HOPE? THANK YOU.

Worried, sympathy for your problems. Try to lose the desperation - you have heard of women who eventually get pregnant when the adoption is approved. The only thing I can suggest is to start temperature charting and following signs of ovulation so you get to understand your cycle as well as possible.

Grandpa Viv, thank you for the advise. Its fastrating thoughbut i will also try the TC. We have always followed the ovulation signs but it oes not seem to work. I will keep positive and let God take control of everything. Thank you.

While you are waiting you could have him checked out. I think the mainstream pharmacies might carry a sperm check kit.
