Makeup!!!! heh.. nothing but make-up really works for me but if you want to like dry up a zit or something so it will go away faster- put toothpaste on it before you go to bed! i know it sounds funny- but it does work! and it is cheap!

Old wives tale...alot of acne means your having a girl.....but seriously my skin has been great 95% of the time nothing from the unusual however I put noxema on my face 1-2 times a day and then go over it afterwards with those round noxema pads to extra clean my pores and to be honest with you I have steered clear of the makeup because of the humidity it would just seem like it would aggervate my skin even more

I had this for the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. The important thing to know is that you should not be using acne type medication or face wash on it. It will get absorbed into your blood stream and could affect the baby. My doctor suggested getting some sun and drinking lots of water. So, thats all I did and it eventually cleared up. While it was horrible, I wore foundation, Revlon Colorstay to be exact. Good Luck, and try to think, its a small price to pay for a little baby you will love for the rest of your life.

Melissa it is ok to use Noxema face wash and pads-they do not absorb through all 3 layers of skin, it may be harmful to use a prescribed acne medication from the doctor that will be absorbed through all 3 layers, just incase you did not know

You can get a prescription for some erythromiacin (sp?) from your doctor it seems to help. My doctor also said that over the counter face washes are fine because you wash them off of your skin. for the quarter size amount that you may use it will not harm the baby. Try a face wash with salicylic acid my face was horrible the first trimester and I am 26 weeks and now it looks really good believe it or not! I also had a level II ultrasound and the baby is fine.

Thanks for the advice. I am using Dermalogica, just cleanser right now, but the other is in the mail on the way here. I was told that was ok to use hopefully it works. I see some of you started to clear up any one else whos skin cleared up as time went on.
