Are Periods Possible

I am pregnant. I seem to be getting bleeding every month at the time of my usual period. The bleeding doesn't contain any clots and is light- not enough for a pad generally but it lasts two or three days. I've been getting it throughout the pregnancy. Will it harm the baby? What does that mean when periods are supposed to be impossible? My baby's heart rate is good.

Some bleeding at period time occurs in one pregnancy in four, especially in the first trimester. You could Google "decidual bleeding" for more info. Talk to your doc for more rea__surance.
