Hi, I just wanted to let you know that it could be an implantational bleed. I have had the back aches and the brown blood. I am 7 weeks. The only reason I know what it is I have had 2 transv____al ultrasounds. If you are still pregnant you may want to ask the doctor about implantational bleeding, which from what I have read is normal. If you have any more questions you could email me @ lisakrueger_2003@hotmail.com

I don't have an answer for you, but I experienced the same symptoms. I pa__sed a blood clot and am having a lot of lower back pain. My other symptoms of being pregnant are still the same though. If you find an answer please let me know...

I found out I was pregnant at about 5 weeks and began bleeding pinkinsh blood only when I wiped. Each week it would get a little brighter and it would start showing up on my underwear. I went to the Dr., and he would to weekly blood test and my levels would stiil be increasing but the bleeding would not stop. He then did an ultrasound at about 6.5 weeks and they could not see a sac. I went back a week later and they found the sac but could not find a heartbeat. I went back a third week and they did see a heartbeat which was such a relief. They said they will repeat more ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy to make sure its growing correctly. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have never had anything like this before. The Dr. has no explanation for the bleeding but has put me on pelvic rest for a few months and says its a good sign once the ultrasound shows a heartbeat. I'm still nervous and hope not to bleed again. Good Luck to Everyone I hope everything works out fine. The best advice I could give you is just try to relax and put your trust in your Drs.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound yesterday b/c I started cramping (feels like cramping you get when you get your period) and bleeding at first it was brownish but then turned red. The doctor said he wasnt sure if I was miscarrying and that I had a seperate sac that had blood and debris in it. Anyone ever have something like this? The doctor couldnt tell me anything b/c he said he had never seen anything like this before.

My doctor has told me in the past that is some womans cases that it is completly ok to have some spotting and an occasional bleed as long as there is no cramping.. Good Luck and hope everything goes well

i found out i was pregnant 2 weeks ago went for first hsg blood draw on 4/21 it was 505 then 2 gays later 473 doc siad i was going to miscarry but i had no cramps or blood. went for anoteher blood draw on 4/28 it was 1036 felt so releived doc said it looked good scheduled an ultrasound for 5/3. however on sat. 4/30 i started spotting a brownish pink color with like brown stringy stuff no cramping. by this morning i had much more pink and red color heavier bleeding cramping pretty bad for several hours i pa__sed something a few hours ago it looks strange like clear and white with blood on it maybe inch and a half long. but now i have no more cramps and bleeding is almost gone. i saved what i pa__sed and put in a jar with water for the doc to see. i am really worried that i miscarried but it seems so strange that the pain and bleeding onky lasted a few hours. is it possible to miscarry a twing in the early stages of pregnancy?? i am probably only about 4 or 5 weeks along?

I´m 6 wks 3 days and have been spotting for last 1 week. At first it was heavy in the 1st day but thereafter it´s just spotting. The 1st ultrasound showed a sac and yolk but was too early to see the fetus. However there was a blood clot near the sac. Can my bleeding or spooting be due to this clot? The Dr. says next ultrasound after 1 week, this is my 1st pregnancy so i´m really worried. I don´t have any pain though. Anyone can help?

I had bleeding when I was 10 weeks and found out I had a bacterial infection. I had no real other symptoms. I'd go to see an MD and have them do a v____al swab. Bacterial infections and UTI are really common, and both can have bleeding as an indicator

They say that bleeding is actually quite common and not always a sign of miscarriage, especially if there are no clots or cramps. I've been freaking out too. I'm 15 week pregnant and woke up with a ma__sive gush of blood. The bleeding stopped immediately except for a little light spotting. Yesterday, my doctor did a sonogram and everything was fine. We think it may have been caused by s_x. We had s_x from behind for the first time this pregnancy and the bleeding 12 hours later. Did that ever happen to anyone else? I'm still really nervous despite the fact that the heart beat and sonogram were normal.

I had my period when I was pregnant with my girls.I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old.And with my 5 year old it was bad.I just stayed in bed and rested. It can get kind of boring but hey I have my 2 girls.

I'm currently 17 weeks and have had on and off spotting since week 5. I have a low lying placenta. I've been restricted to very light activity and no s_x. I've had some pretty stressful moments, particularly in the first trimester when miscarriage is such a threat. Some weird additional symptoms were extremely heavy discharge for a few days accompanied by cramping which I now believe was round ligament pain. I've been treated with prometrium and treated for a UTI, both of which were not needed, but caused no harm, regardless. Like others have said, some bleeding really is harmless. Good luck to all of you!

I hope someone could give me some answers, my story is, after I found out I was pregnant I started bleeding it was like a period that went on for 6 days, no big blood clots just some tissue, I went for a ultrasound but they couldn't find anything and I didn't want to do a tranv____al as i was bleeding I did find out that my uterus is retroverted, the doctor who did the ultrasound said a miscarriage but when i went to see my doctor she said a possible miscarriage which confused me and that we need to check my hcg levels, so far I have had 6 bloodtest , the 1st level was 270, 2nd 380 3rd 1060 4th 1600 5th 4000 I haven't got the results of the 6th one, I still have bleeding once a week more so after having days off work. I still have symptoms of pregnancy my stomach has weird sensations that i can't describe.I have another ultrasound on friday 6th which i'm prepared for a transv____al so hopefully I get some good news, has anyone experienced something similar.

Kris - May 4

I don't want to freak you out, but with HCG levels rising like that and bleeding like that.... it sounds exactly like my tubal pregnancy. Ask the docs when they do your ultrasound. I am hoping for you that it is something else. I am currently going through it all over again, hoping this time the bleeding is caused by something else, and not another tubal.

hi all. i hope everyone is doing well and i wish everyone the best. i posted last on sunday night after some cramping and bleeding. i had an ultrasound yesterday and i did infact miscarry just got blood results back hcg is dropping quickly. i am devastated yet at the same time still overjoyed knowing that i can get pregnant on my own. for 8 long years i thought there was no hope and now i know otherwise. doc says to wait one cycle before trying again but if it happens i'll be sure to drop in and let you know.take care and good luck to everyone

Hi. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and I had slight brown discharge yesterday. I went and saw my GP who did a urine test - there was no blood in my urine and I was then sent off for an ultrasound - I saw my baby and the heart is beating strong....the doctor said that if you only have slight bleeding or the blood is brownish then not to worry too much as it's only old blood. If you are worried about anything though, call your ob or GP for peace of mind. Good luck everyone.
