Possible - that would be implantation spotting - pink and brown when wiping is a frequent description. Do you have any other signs coming on, like PMS but different in timing or intensity? That might include fatigue, more peeing, lotion discharge, weird cramps, appet_te and smell changes, gut function, acne, headache, backache, emotions, dreams etc? Wait until a normal period is for sure overdue, then test using first morning pee. GL!

i havent had a period in a year n a half as i was on depo came of it 2 months ago n havent yet had a period however i have been ttc for the past 2 months, on sunday (4 Days ago) i had brown dischaRGE when i wiped just for half the day after that nothing, except peeing alot and loss of normal (very good) appat_te,and have got a few more spots than usual, is it my mind playing tricks on me or could it of been implantation bleeding? if so when can i take a test?? please help grandpa viv!

You could try a test next Sunday, and repeat a week later if necessary. Use first morning pee, which is stronger. Don't let your hopes get too high until you have had at least one period. GL!

Do You mean the sunday after the brown discharge or 2 weeks after i had the discharge? i have alot of the sings but im just hopin that its going to be possitive! how long after implantation does it normaly show on a test?

Yes, implantation is about a week after ovulation, and a week before an expected period, so you could hope that May 9th represents a missed period, which is when most start testing. Some women do not get a positive for 2 weeks after that, and a few even later. Keep hoping, keep trying - GL!

Hi Emma! I just stopped birth control in February and my periods have been a mess. They have been coming about every 50 days and I cramp for about two weeks before and I also spot three to four days before. I have a doctors appt today to see if this is normal. I don't want you to get dissappointed, but just wanted to let you know that it can take awhile for your body to adjust. Let me know what happens and I will keep my fingers crossed forsure!!! Hi thanks for your help, i took a test yesterday morning and it was negative "/ however this stil doesnt explain my headaches, gone off food & smells completely, feeling sick! ive booked an appointment to see the doc in a few hours but i dont want him to think im an idiot! can i request a blood test? i dont want him to say just wait! Hi again! Well I just got back from my doctor appointment today and it was pretty much worthless:( They said that it can take 18 months to get back to normal after going off birth control. They are going to test my blood to see if I have any hormone issues, but I just feel so upset. I feel like my hormones are all outta whack from the pill. I had all the same symptoms as you. Tired, spotting, headache, dizziness etc. Yes, you can request a blood test, but they will probably do a urine test first. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

are their urine tests different to the ones that you do at home? is it true it can take a few weeks to show up on a home test? my friends didnt turn positive til she was 6 weeks

I think they are the same. It can take a few weeks to show up. You should test the day after your missed period and then every three days after that if you still do not have a period. When are you do for af?

It usually shows up two weeks after you ovulate or one week after implantation. Do you know when you ovulated? If you think you are preggo them I would definitley go to the doctor.

im not completely sure im at the docs in an hour so will update you soon however i have also just noticed my stomach is a bit bloated and hardish also it hurts to touch it in places??? i really dont no wats goin on with me!

Maybe your body is just getting ready for you to start your period. I am kinda in the same boat as you. It took me 50 days to get my period and now I have all these problems like not ovulating. My doctor was not much help, so I look forward to hearing back from you after your appointment. Good luck!!! Do you live in the States?
