Crazy Periods And Need Advice

I have a very irregular menstrual cycle. The most recent ones were 74 days apart, 42 days, 39 days, another 39 days and then the last was 34. All of my periods are 4 days regardless of how often it appears.
I have been checking my. Using a nap, and it has determined that my average is about 39 days. Based on that information, my period was projected to come on the 23rd of March, but instead I had 2 days of a regular flow with minimal clotting on the 17th and 18th of March. I use a menstrual cup, so I used it for the additional two days which were very light to catch the left over brown blood. (TMI, I know. Sorry!)
I was away for business for a few days and my period came on the day I was flying hime.
Therw was a 3 hour time zone difference, and att first I thought that the time difference made a significant impact, but I kept to my regular sleeping schedule while I was gone.
I tested today on a stick and it was a BFN. Should I be worried? When should I test again?

I guess I should also mention that the day I was sexually active, was the day before I was supposed to be ovulating. It was exactly two weeks prior to the day I started bleeding.
