So me and my fiancé are ttc and the last time we had s_x was July 24 and my period was due august 8th and it came like usual. The usually heavy bleeding. Well 2 weeks later, today. I had spotting. It was light pink and sometimes dark brown. If that was an early period it would make me 14 days early. I've never done this before. Also, the bleeding is almost gone. It only showed when I would wipe. It would be a light pink strip on the toilet paper. Or an nickel sized spot of medium brown. What could this be? I'm freakin out.

Occasionally there is spotting from ovulation, 14 days before the expected period. The couple of days before that happens is the best time to try for conception.

But I've never done this before ever. It almost looks like a very light period. And it's still going. If not that, what else could it be?

I just went and peed and wiped and now the blood is almost black in color and it's stringy

idk. Dark blood is often attributed to uterine lining that should have let go at the last period but for some reason did not. If this goes on longer than mid-cycle ovulation spotting it would be good to check with a doctor.

Still today, I have very very light pink spotting now. It's been doing this for 3 days. I mean that can't be a__sociated with pregnancy right? I've had some symptoms. But, I just don't wanna trick myself into believing I am. Could it be an infection?

Oh and actually I said it's been 3 days I meant 4 days. Today makes the 4th day.
