How Do You Know If You Want Kids

I am not sure this is the right place for this post but here it goes. My husband and I are 35 and have had not very serious conversations about having kids. Sometimes I want children and sometimes I don't as I enjoy the life I have today. My husband tells me that he will be OK with whatever I decide but this is like putting the decision of having kinds entirely on my shoulders. I am unsure about it and when talking to my husband he sounds like he could go either way.
When you discussed having kids with your significant other, what was it like? Was your spouse ambigous about it? Or was it very passionate about having or not having them. I just need to know what is the decision process like for other people. Maybe the fact that my husband tells me that he will be OK with what I decide means that he is not really into having kids that much.
Any thoughts?

I think you should get out pencil and paper and sit down with him to list the pros and cons. Exactly what will you be giving up, and what will be the rewards. At some stage in the a___lysis, put yourselves in the mindset of reaching old age and looking back on what you are leaving to the world. This is a decision you need to make in the near future. GL!
