How Long Until You Know You Re Pregnant

how long do you have to wait to take a pregnancy test to know if you are or are not pregnant? i know it isn't 2 or 3 days, but i don't know how long. I just took a pregnancy test, b/c i was worried about pre c_m getting me pregnant, but i think it was just a week or two ago. Is that long enough for me to know if my test was correct? (It said negative by the way)

briana- i dont think it will show up yet because i am going through the same thing... I had unprotected s_x about 2 weeks ago, i talked to someone they said that it would show up around the 3rd or 4th week... you could also just wait until a couple days before you are suppose to get your period the clear blue home test say u can take it 4 days before your missed period if it is still neg. then wait another 4-5 days and then take it again.. good luck
