Hello and thank you for reading I could really use your advice/ opinion. So I am very confused as to whats going on with my body these past few weeks. I am very in-tune with my body and I just feel that something is going on. So I want to start off by saying I have always had a dependable normal cycle. Always on time never early never late! I dont experience much prior to af NO cramps No crazy emotions nothing! All I get is the day before is back pain then the next morning I wake up and she has arrived. Well this month is completly different! I started feeling some pain in my back, sore br___t and an attack of emotions crying one min smiling the next then screaming at my poor boyfriend. I felt very bloated and the cravings to eat a lot which is not normal for me. This has been going on consistancy for about the past week or so. So my period is due monday. Friday morning I woke up miserable I had the worst back pain and cramping in my lower groin area. Around noon I ran to the br and noticed a light pink bleeding, and it stayed the day that light. Saturday I woke up and still had the groin pain and my bleeding got heavier and was a bright red. Its around 11 now and the bleeding has stopped and not to much pain. I did take a test earlier and it was negative. So back to my original question...whats going on? Thanks again for your time!

I don't think you can hang your hat on that negative test. Run another a week after the first using first morning urine. Are those signs continuing even after your bleed? GL!

In my book implantation spotting is light or not noticeable and comes in the week before your period was due. In addition about 25% of pregnancies experience bleeding at period time in the first trimester. You are still reporting enough early signs that another test is indicated. Could you have had a contraceptive mishap a couple of weeks before the period was due? GL!
