Of course.drinking extra fluids and the "feeling of being thirsty" is just your bodies way of telling you to up your fluid intake. Being hydrated and allowing your body to deliver the essential nutrients to your baby via the placenta is the perfect way to keep things in motion for you and baby. It's smart to be well hydrated anyway and even more so when you have a baby inside you. My doctor even mentioned to me that in the early stages of pregnancy it is vital to keep hydrated. I always feel thirsty especially at night time and in the morning..I know it means extra trips the the bathroom but those are the side effects to the extra fluids. I have two days to go..think I will go have a drink of water ;)
