I would like to tell you honestly, my mom smoked weed throughout here entire pregnancy with me. As a baby I had low birthweight, breating problems and developmental delays. As a child I had develpmental delays, chronic bronchitis, and memory problems. As an adult (who has never even tried weed) I always forget things, still have breathing problems, and I am 4'11. So because my mom didn't smoke or drink anything else when she was pregnant for me, I'm pretty sure it's from weed. Oh and FYI, I have an 11 year old sister who my mom did no drugs when she was pregnant with, and she is way healthier than me and is already just 2 inches below me in height. WEED IS BAD PEOPLE.

i think everyone can chill now considering this question was posted in april and she was seven months then, the baby has been born guys, so it doesnt' really matter what we think now

All of you that have smoked or are smoking pot while pregnant and think that it is ok need to have your heads examined think about it if the doctors say that smoking ciggs are bad for the baby what do you think pot is doing if it is making you feel like that what do you think your unborn child is feeling like if they dont want you to smoke ciggs why would they want or even think that it was remotely ok for you to smoke pot you woman that have smoked it have no business bearing children in the first place get some help your all sick!!!!!!!!

IF YOU LIKE IT YOU SHOULD ONLY THINK OF YOURSELF, NOT YOUR BABY AND DO IT. NOW THAT I SAID WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR, HOW ABOUT PICKING UP PRETTY MUCH ANY PREGNANCY BOOK OR MAGAZINE AND READ THE TRUTH. DRUGS ARE BAD ANY TIME DUH! WHY DO YOU THINK THERE ARE PROGRAMS LIKE DARE TO PREVENT DOING DRUGS? STOP BEING SO SELFISH AND THINK OF YOUR KIDS. IF MY DAUGHTER EVER DID DRUGS, ESPECIALLY WHILE PREGNANT, I WOULD REPORT HER TO THE COPS IN A SECOND. GIVE YOUR KID THE CHANCE TO NOT BE A POTHEAD AT LEAST! THEY SHOULD AT LEAST GET THE OPTION TO NOT BE STONED.

Have you read the study on pregnancy, weed and the effects on baby that was conducted in Jamaica? REALLY interesting. I'll let you know where to find it if you'd like.

i think that asking that question at all and smoking are all so selfish,u shouldnt even want to take that risk at hurting your baby!!!!

why would you even want to risk your babys health?whats more important having a healthy baby or getting high?its your choice.

Well let's just say my b/f cousin did it and her first child was born a preme and stayed in the hospital for 3 months. Her second pregnancy she was pregnant with twins. One came home and the other spend 3 months in the hospital. A girl I went to school with smoked it durning her pregnancy and her child was born with down syndrome. Just remember whatever you do your baby is doing. You don't want to hurt your baby so If I was you the moment I found out I was pregnant I would have stopped. Oh and whoever is telling you that it won't harm your baby is not someone you need to be listening to. Everything may look ok now but what about about after he/she is born it may start to have problems then.

i really dont mean to be rude...but you are just now thinking about this in your SEVENTH month?! what happened the first 7 months...where you too high to realise that you were pregnant or what? all that aside, something COULD happen, or everything will be fine, there isnt really any real way to know until you have the baby. hopefully for the sake of your child everything is ok...i hate to say it, but if not, i hope that you have learned a very important lesson, and that being that NO amount (small...or excessive) of a chemical substance is worth it. good luck.
