I named my daughter, who is 6, Aislyn Ione, and she loves her name so much! I have never had a person give me a negative response when they hear her name. Everyone thinks it is unique and feminine, but not weird. Pronounced: Ay-slin Eye-own.

How about Aislyne Rowena, it's old English, I have a thing for those names. My baby is going to be Morrgaine Aradia, that is if I ever conceive.

Great name. I was searching for middle names for Aislyn too. I have heard pronounced like "Ashlyn" and yes it is Irish and not really that uncommon if you're of Irish decsent. From reading the suggestions, my favorites are Rebecca, Marie, and Kennedy. I had thought of Michal too, which could go well if it went with your last name.

I think it's a pretty name! I had a friend in High School named Aslyn (az-lynn), we called her Azzy for short. I like Aislyn Rebecca!

I was wondering also how it is pronounced. From what I have read it is Ash-lyn, I really like Ace-lyn! Just a thought! No matter how it is pronounced it is beautiful name and I love the meaning! It needs a name just as pretty for the middle name, I don't have any ideas but I'm sure you will come up with something great! Good luck to you!

I love the name Aislyn...I think I might push for that name for our 2nd daughter (though my husband wants Crimson Rose...gah...bash THAT name all you want!! LOL) I've always thought it was pronounced Ace-lyn, but with a Z sound rather than an S sound...if that makes sense? Aislyn Christine would be nice...or, since Aislyn means dream, perhaps something that means "sweet" or "pleasant" or "perfect" - y'know what I mean?

Lisa is such an ugly name! Maybe Lisa and the other rude ladies are just mad because they are stuck with an ugly name and can not appreciate such a pretty name like Aislyn! I love the name Aislyn, if I was not having a little boy I might have to steal it! lol :) -----> Middle names..... Sierra, Brooke,Lei,Dakota. Good luck! <-----

I gave birth last month and named my daughter Aislyn Joy. I think Joy fits great, and its her grandmother's name. I think its very cool that someone else has chosen the name Aislyn, my husband and I think its beautiful, and no one has heard it before!

Hi!
My daughters name is Aislyn, (she'll be 3 in May) AND, we pronounce A-slyn, NOT with an ASH. Ai-slyn...OR..."Aisy Daisy"
Although, looking at the date of the last response, I'm a bit late for posting in here!!LOL
