I'm the mother of 2. Oldest is 12 youngest is 10mths. For the last 5mths(except this one) I got my period 3-5 days early. This month I'm 2 days late. I've been having this clear discharge up until yesterday. Yesterday I went to the bathroom and the clear mucus discharge was brown. What could it be? Is it my period? So far I don't have any cramps. I went through something similar when I was pregnant with my 10mth old. Thought it was a period then the next month missed a period and found out I was 8wks! Do I test or not? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

A test should have a good chance of being reliable at 2 days late. Use first morning pee, dip method. Repeat in a week if still unsure. GL!
